FSU's Web & Mobile Team is responsible for the oversight of the Frostburg State University web & mobile presence. We're here every day to help FSU departments, offices and programs with their web & mobile needs and projects.

Connect to Frostburg State University resources on-the-go with Frostburg State Mobile for iPhone or iPod touch. The application is available to download for free from the Apple® App StoreSM and Google Play®. All other devices can access the app from a browser by visiting m.wikha.com.

Web Content Management System (CMS)

For our web presence, FSU uses a web Content Management System (CMS) called Cascade CMS from Hannon Hill. A web content management system makes web publishing possible for non-technical users. All official University web sites are in the CMS.

Web Hosting

Frostburg State University provides web space to permit web pages to be created and posted for University divisions, colleges, academic departments, administrative offices or other units and programs (official pages).

All official FSU web pages must be hosted on an official FSU web server maintained by the Office of Information Technology.

Web Application Development

Any department considering developing a database-supported web application must get the required approvals before commencing work on the project. Contact the Web & Mobile Team in the Office of Information Technology - Technology Services with project information.

At a minimum, the University Office of Information Technology must approve the project. Depending on the nature of the project, further approvals may be required.

The unit requesting approval for a project will be required to provide a clear project specification as well as any other information required for the request to be thoroughly considered.
